Print on Demand, Perfect Bound Artist's Book
Apricots Before the Sky was inspired after my first visit to the Empire State Building in NYC, where a friend told me she has never eaten apricots before. Coming from a Turkish background where apricots are a year-round consumption, I was inspired to write a personal story about fear from skyscrapers illustrated by the photos I took of NYC as seen from above. Presented with a close-up cover image of an apricot's skin, Apricots Before the Sky embodies the clash between the industrial and the organic.
